In a recent discussion board, we compared US and China on the 6 cultural dimensions and proposed successful US exports for the Chinese market. This week we are talking about the political environment, its (in)stability and its effect on investments and trade. The US political system has no doubt experienced few jolts. Let’s turn the tables around and see how the recent political changes are likely to affect Chinese investment in the US and Chinese imports to the US, both in the short-term and the long-term.
